Other Tours
On this trail we should see lots of spring wildflowers such as bluebells, trilliums, blue cohosh, Canada violets, wild hyacinth and much more. This will also be a great time to see a wide diversity of birds. We will meet at the Lynd Fruit Farm Market at 8:30 for the morning tour and at 2:30 for the afternoon tour. Meet by the Native plant display out front and we will caravan from there to the park in Pataskala. This will be an easy half mile hike. We will likely take it slow and spend about 45 minutes to an hour on the trail. THIS IS A FREE EVENT!
Previous Tours
On March 8 and March 9 (from 10:30am to about 12:30pm each day), come out to Lynd Fruit Farm (9399 Morse Rd SW Pataskala, OH 43062) to observe a pruning demonstration from the apple expert, Mr. Lynd himself! Availability is limited, so grab your spot now by viewing the availability calendar at the “Book Now” link provided. Attendees will get to take a wagon ride from our market out to our peach orchard, our Asian pear orchard, and our apple orchard to observe pruning demonstrations of all 3 different kinds of fruit trees. Guests will have opportunity to ask questions and time-permitting, even do a little guided pruning of their own. Total tour time will be about 2 hours.
Price is $30 for an individual or $45 for a couple (if purchasing for a couple, select the $45 option and select the amount of “couples” attending, not individuals – in other words, if you and your spouse are coming, you would select the 1 – $45 COUPLE admission, allowing for 2 seats on the tour). Our Winter Warehouse sale will also be going on the same days as these pruning demonstrations, so after learning all about pruning, guests will be dropped back off at the market where you can shop for your favorite Lynd apples and other items!
